Denver Marathon
The Denver Marathon was by far the worst weather I have ever run in. I’ve run in colder weather, but never cold and rain. A lot of people didn’t show up and there were quite a few that didn’t finish. There were about 1350 runners that finished, and I beat just over half of them. I wasn’t happy with my time so it looks like I’ll be running another one come spring time
Starting Over
So far 2 marathon, 2 disappointments. I am very competitive and expect nothing but the best from myself. Both of my marathons have been somewhat crappy in my mind and I have to do better. So I’m starting this new blog and I hope that my next marathon is much better than than the first two.
I was diagnosed with MS about 4 years ago and I am one of the lucky ones. I don't have too many problems associated with it, and the disease has actually slowed down. I took up running 3 years ago just to see if I could do it. So far I've run 3 marathons in a year and a half.
