I share your concerns about overheating with MS (my first exacerbation was while working out on a step maching). Check out www.shopx-bionic.com/why-x-bionic. This company makes clothing that keeps your core temperature regulated even at extremes like 125 degrees. Good luck!

Hey Dave,

Thanks for the warning on the Denver Marathon. I was wondering about the Elevation.. maybe I'd better pick one that I don't have to worry about that part of it. I'll be doing the MS150 here next month, after that, It'll be all running probably.

Take care and good luck!

Hey Bill,
Thanks for stopping by. The Denver Marathon is a decent race, but it can be a struggle if you're not used to the elevation here. One year it was 35 degrees and freezing rain! But for most years, the weather is perfect. Congrats on running 10 marathons so far. That is awesome.

Hey Dave.. congrats on your marathons with MS.. Great accomplishment. I also have MS and am an avid runner. I was diagnosed in 1993, but suffered very few of the effects until 2000. Started Copaxone then and also started running more seriously. Since 2000 I've run 10 marathons. I love running and especially running marathons. I agree with you and the heat too.. it wears me out. I was just in Denver last weekend and was wondering about that marathon. I'm lining up a fall marathon, but haven't decided on one yet.

Good luck with your running. Maybe we'll cross paths someday.
