One of the largest 10K’s in the country is this Monday in Boulder, Colorado. There will be around 55,000 runners that will take to the streets in Boulder to do The Bolder Boulder that finishes up at Colorado University stadium.
The cool thing is that my son Jason will be coming back to try and improve on his time from 2007, which I’m sure he won’t reveal, but I will. It was 56:26. I’m not sure if he will though, because as in his words, he is “fat and happy” now. I guess that means he hasn’t been training much. He will be coming in to run the race with his girlfriend, Megan, who has never run a 10K before. She may never run one again after this one!
I have no idea how I’ll do. Right now my knee is hurting from my half marathon on Sunday, and one thing I didn’t mention before was I got a blister on the bottom of my foot. The blister should heal up soon, but not sure about the knee. But the main thing will be to run with my son and have fun, and I just hope one of these days we can run a marathon together.
I was diagnosed with MS about 6 years ago and I am one of the lucky ones. I don't have too many problems associated with it, and the disease has actually slowed down. I took up running 4 years ago just to see if I could do it. So far I've run 5 marathons in 3 years and 12 half marathons.

Yeah I’m excited, it will be fun no matter how fast (or slow) we run.
