Well, I haven’t run all week because I’ve been having issues again with my knee. I’ve been noticing sharp pains (like it would be hard to notice?) in my knee whenever I would run lately, so I’ve been taking it a bit easy, and went back to my orthopedic doctor. She recommended the set of shots again because they did work well the first time and lasted 7 months. It’s some kind of stuff (sorry to get all technical on you) that they shoot right into the knee, and I have to get 5 shots all together. But then I’m good to go. It has set me back a bit on my training for my next half marathon, but I think I’ll be back up to speed soon, so I’m not too worried. I was hoping to get out tomorrow and run 10 to 12 miles, but it’s snowing and they are predicting up to 20″!!! It’s freaking April 17th! By Monday, it is supposed to be 70. Crazy. Sunday shouldn’t be too bad either, so I may run Sunday instead of Saturday, and we’ll see how it goes.
I was diagnosed with MS about 6 years ago and I am one of the lucky ones. I don't have too many problems associated with it, and the disease has actually slowed down. I took up running 4 years ago just to see if I could do it. So far I've run 4 marathons in 2 years and 12 half marathons.

Yeah, I wanted to run today too, but it’s much too wet and slushy out there. Tomorrow’s supposed to be a better day.
I hope the shots do the trick and you’re able to get in your run tomorrow.
