Hi Corey,
The knee feels okay, but not great. We'll see in less than two weeks when I do the half in North Carolina where I plan on pushing myself!

Wow, good for you! Sounds like you had the perfect weather for your half-marathon. So glad you finished it in one piece!

So how are the knees doing?

It sounds like you run a lot like me: I also get so absorbed in my running that I lose all sense of time & space, & usually don't recall much unless I blog about it immediately afterwards! ;-) Internal running is great. I love just "spacing out" & not being concerned with much, except putting one foot in front of the next or looking around & observing the environment. It's a great way to enjoy the experience!" ;-)

Nice race, Dave! Best of luck at OBX.

P.S. I'm a big fan of the Honey Stinger gels too...they seem to go down a lot easier than some of the other ones I've tried.

I just said I'm shooting for it. I can dream can't I? That would be if all the stars aligned, the weather was about 50 degrees and cloudy, the wind was at my back, and the knee holds up.
