Another Week, and I’m still Running

I did 25 miles this past week, and so far, so good.  I did 8 miles on Saturday, and I felt like I could have done more.  I really trying not to push it, so I made the decision to go 8, and that’s what I did.  I’m only averaging around a 9 mile per minute pace though, and that has been hard to do.  I really want to try and push it, but I know it’s not ready.

Speaking of football, the season gets underway this week, and everyone has a chance to go to the Super Bowl.  All I need is for the Detroit Lions to be one of those teams.  Just once in my lifetime, I would like to see that.

I am so glad the Democratic National Convention is finally gone.  Did you know that Obama spelled backwords is Amabo?  Never have I seen so much hype for someone with so little experience.  I get that he’s African American, but I don’t want to elect someone just because they are of a particular race.  He’s a great speech reader also, and for that he should be president?  It’s all just a popularity contest anymore.

About Dave

I was diagnosed with MS about 8 years ago and I am one of the lucky ones. I don't have too many problems associated with it, and the disease has actually slowed down. I took up running 6 years ago just to see if I could do it. So far I've run 7 marathons in 5 years and 18 half marathons.
