Hi Dave,
Regarding the 3 beers comment - You & me both! ;-) What was the race your sons ran called, "Run for the Doughnuts"?!!!! Hahahaha. Your sons' must have iron stomachs & not be very susceptible to cramps! ;-) Wow, that's impressive & hilarious all at once.

Hi Corey,
The run at The Snug is just a fun run that a bunch of us do every week, and I only drink one Guiness in between runs, not 3. I'm pretty sure that I wouldn't be running much after 3 beers. But then after the second 3 miler, we can do 3 or more if we want.
My sons did a run in North Carolina where they ran 2 miles, ate a dozen Krispy Kreme donuts, then ran another 2 miles. Now that's crazy.

Love the title & content of this post! I think we can all relate to having a week like the one you've described. Well, except maybe not all of us can run (or more to the point, finish! ;-) ) races where we are required to run, drink 3 beers, & then run again. How many times did you have to repeat that drill?! ;-) It's a good thing they don't consider "drinking while running" a minor traffic offense, or measure one's BAC during the race! - Hahahhaa!

MMMMmmmm, Guinness. Looks like we have the same personal weakness!

If The Snug race involves chugging lots of Guinness at fill stations in between miles, then I think I'd be stumbling over myself & everyone else at the finish line. ;-) Do you think maybe the spaghetti dinner the night before helps to soak up some of the alcohol?!
