Denver Marathon

The Denver Marathon was by far the worst weather I have ever run in. I’ve run in colder weather, but never cold and rain. A lot of people didn’t show up and there were quite a few that didn’t finish. There were about 1350 runners that finished, and I beat just over half of them. I wasn’t happy with my time so it looks like I’ll be running another one come spring time

I was diagnosed with MS about 8 years ago and I am one of the lucky ones. I don't have too many problems associated with it, and the disease has actually slowed down. I took up running 6 years ago just to see if I could do it. So far I've run 7 marathons in 5 years and 18 half marathons.

    Congratulations on the Denver Marathon. I had planned to run the half but ended up being out of town for a family emergency.
